Jett Pangan said he is thankful for a lot of things when it comes to his rom-com series Marry Me, Marry You.
“Specifically, maraming salamat unang una kay Adrian (Lindayag) for the scented candle ng aming hotel room, kay Paulo (Avelino) para sa pa-lechon and the pa-chibog lagi sa set. And generally, maraming salamat sa lahat ng cast, na bumubuo ng Marry Me, Marry You for making me really feel at home, for making me really a part of this family and I’m sure nag-radiate yan sa performances naming lahat na talagang isa kaming pamilya dito. I fell in love with everyone. It’s a great cast.”
As one of the more veteran members of the cast, the 53-year-old singer and actor said he had fun with the Marry Me, Marry You cast which was composed of young stars like Angelica Lao and Luis Vera Perez who play his children on the show.
“I really enjoyed working with ‘my kids’ because na-feel ko talaga yung bond namin as a family. Siyempre iba yung journey namin eh, ng mga Jacinto from the very start. As we went on taping, na-develop talaga yung bond between the characters,” he admitted during the Marry Me, Marry You Finale Mediacon last January 4.
Even though he has more experience in acting onscreen than some of his co-stars, Jett said that there really was not much need to do mentoring on the set.
“Personally speaking, pag tinanong lang naman ako then I will give my two cents. But everyone here is really doing their part eh. Kaya para sa akin magic combination ito. Everyone was really on top of themselves. Talagang ginawa nila yung kailangan gawin. Ang dami talaga namin pero we were able to really find our spots, our corners kumbaga in the story. Magaling din kasi yung nagsulat eh. It’s one cohesive unit kumbaga,” he admitted.
Apart from Marry Me, Marry You, Jett will be part of the cast of the upcoming Dreamscape Entertainment teleserye Flower of Evil starring Piolo Pascual and Lovi Poe. Even with his current series now on its final tmonth run, the talented performer hopes viewers wait it until the very last episode.
“Sa last three weeks, marami pang mangyayari, marami pang unpredictable moments I’m sure na magugustuhan ninyo. Stay safe everyone,” he added.
