Elmo Magalona returns to acting in ‘Click, Like, Share’: ‘Nagkaroon ng struggle’

Last seen in the 2020 series <a href='https://ent.abs-cbn.com/asoldiersheart'>A Soldier’s Heart</a>, actor Elmo Magalona returns to acting in the “Unseen” episode of Click, Like, Share.“Just like everybody else naman na nagkaroon ng struggle. Kasi I’ve just been home. I don’t want to get sick or anything. Pero now na nagkakaroon na ulit ng chance to get out more, like this week nag-guest ako [on It’s] Showtime and it’s been exciting recently. Now that Click, Like, Share is going to be coming out, siyempre doble pa yung excitement ko. This is actually my first thing na mapapalabas na finally and I’m so thankful na mapapalabas na siya. Hindi naman sobrang adjustments kasi nung shinu-shoot din naman namin yung A Soldier’s Heart nagkaroon na rin ng pandemic and we had to undergo a lot of the safety protocols which ginawa rin namin for Click, Like, Share,” he shared during the Click, Like, Share media conference last January 6. <a href='https://push.abs-cbn.com/2020/3/25/fresh-scoops/elmo-magalona-introduces-non-showbiz-girlfriend-22130'>READ: Elmo Magalona introduces non-showbiz girlfriend</a>After his co-star Jane Oineza revealed how much preparation he did before they started taping, Elmo said he tried his best to be ready for the role when he got to the set. “Honestly nung nakuha ko yung script, hindi ko alam na may ganun palang scene (laughs). So hindi naman siya grand preparation. Alam mo yung parang meron kang exam tomorrow, mag-ka-cram ka lang. Ganun yung naging pakiramdam ko nung nag-pi-prepare ako for Click, Like, Share. Pero I was patient. Pero si Mariel talaga yung nag-aasikaso ng photography and ako lang yung parang assistant niya. But then later on makakahanap nga si Jerome ng opportunity, a chance na magkaroon ng modeling career. Doon mag-sa-start yung meaning ng episode namin which is why it’s called ‘Unseen’ kasi dun papasok yung social media sa buhay ni Mariel at ni Jerome. Makikita natin kung ano ang magiging mas matimbang para sa kanila, yung love or yung career nila,” he explained. Now that he has officially returned to acting, Elmo looks forward to ebing more visible onscreen in 2022. “Hopefully things keep on rolling from here on and sana with this start of the year maging prosperous pa ang year natin,” he added.
