Playing a fan girl of Yeng Constantino in the top-rated iQiyi series Saying Goodbye was easy for Andrea Brillantes who said she also knows how it feels to be a fan girl in real life. The 18-year-old actress admitted she is a big fan of K-pop group BLACKPINK as well as movie characters Harley Quinn and Joker.

“I think kasi at first nahirapan ako kasi naghahanap talaga ako ng mga bagay na makaka-relate ako kay Elise (her character in Saying Goodbye). So natutunan ko na pag nahirapan ako I just need to research. So I think never mo dapat nili-limit yung kakayahan mo at lahat nadadaan naman pag napag-aralan mo ng mabuti yung isang bagay.

Never nawala sa akin.

Having been in showbiz since she was seven years old, Andrea said she is still adjusting to now being the most experienced actress on their show, with her love team partner Seth Fedelin having only joined showbiz just over three years ago and other cast members Andi Abaya, Kobie Brown, and Nio Tria getting their biggest acting break in Saying Goodbye. The 18-year-old actress said she does not think she is worthy to mentor them just yet.

“Nakakatawa kasi in real life ate ko si Ate Andi. Ayoko din,” she explained.

Looking back on the past few years, Andrea revealed which were the happiest and saddest moments for her and her family.

I was only 16. Yun yung akong hardest goodbye. Actually hindi ako nakapag-goodbye. I was ten minutes late,” she added.

Saying Goodbye is streamed exclusively on iQiyi and www.iQ.com. Starring Andrea Brillantes, Seth Fedelin, Andi Abaya, Kobie Brown, and Nio Tria. Directed by Dolly Dulu.
