Claudine Barretto says she and sister Marjorie are now civil: ‘Wala ng gulo’

<p>More than two years after being involved in a physical altercation with her older sister Marjorie at their father Miguel’s wake in 2019, Claudine Barretto said things are better now in their family after spending some time together last month.</p><p>“My mom just went out of the hospital two days ago because of COVID. Yes we had a great New Year. Sinalubong namin ang bagong taon na sobra sobrang saya kasi magkakasama kami ng buong pamilya ko. It was such a touching experience. And nakaka-miss. Yung mga pamangkin ko nakasama ko ulit. Si Marjorie at ako civil lang naman pero alam mong wala na, wala ng gulo. Alam mong may peace na. It was the best New Year of my life. And I saw my mom without my dad. I’m sure my dad’s so happy kasi nga magkasama kaming lahat. I was just able to enjoy my nephews and my nieces again after so many years. Because of all na napagdaanan ko siguro, it made me a stronger person. Ang dami kong lessons na na-le-learn sa kada trial na kailangan ko pagdaanan.
