Actress Belle Mariano has dropped the music video of her song "Rise" from her debut album Daylight.
Directed by Amiel Kirby Balagtas, the video was released on the YouTube channel of ABS-CBN's Star Music on Monday, January 24.
With almost 150,000 views, the music video of "Rise" is now among the top trending music content on YouTube.
"Rise" is one of the seven tracks featured in Belle's album which she released in December.
The song was written by singer Jayda Avanzado, and produced by Roque "Rox" Santos. It is said to reflect her journey in show business.
In "Rise," Belle sings: "The journey comes with setbacks. Sometimes I wanna quit the show. I'm told that I should step back. But here's something that they should know: I won't back down and I'll stand my ground."
The launch of the music video came just days before Belle's much-awaited virtual concert, Daylight, which will be held on January 29 via the streaming platform KTX.ph.
Her onscreen partner, Donny Pangilinan, is a special guest at the show. The two co-starred in the hit teen series He's Into Her and the romance film Love Is Color Blind.
Aside from Donny, Jayda is also set to perform, along with actor-singer Kyle Echarri and popular OPM band Ben&Ben.
Regular tickets for Daylight are available via KTX.ph.
