Nadine Samonte and her family have survived their bout with the novel coronavirus, the former actress happily shared on Monday, January 24.

Through an Instagram Stories update, Nadine said that everyone in their household, including even their two-month-old daughter Harmony, had tested positive for COVID-19.

"Grabe ang nangyari sa amin. Kaming lahat nag-positive, kahit si Harmony. Buti mild symptoms lang kami and ang mga kids. Naagapan agad," she said.


"Thank you Lord for everything. We made it. To everyone, please be safe. Thank you [to our doctor] for guiding us all the way."

Prior to this, Nadine had given her followers a hint of her family's bout with COVID-19 through an Instagram post where she talked about being in the "gray area."
 
"We are still in the gray area but we are okay. Everyone's okay even our little Harmony. Thank you Lord hindi mo kami pinabayaan lalo na mga kids. Salamat. Prayers to everyone. Pls be safe and God bless!" she said. 

Nadine, 33, joins a growing list of celebrities who have revealed in recent days getting infected with COVID-19, amid a fresh surge of new cases in the country. 

Others were Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera, Hidilyn Diaz, Shaina Magdayao, Bianca Gonzalez, and Ivana Alawi.

Currently, there are a total of 260,997 active cases of COVID-19 locally, 24,938 of which were recorded just this Monday, January 24.
