Vice Ganda sure knows how to throw a party as he recently brought together members of the LGBTQIA+ community for an event called UnkabogaBall.

A play on the It’s Showtime host’s moniker “Unkabogable Star,” the colorful event was attended by some of the most notable names in the LGBTQIA+ community in the country.

The guests included Paolo Ballesteros, Jervi Li or KaladKaren, Macoy Averilla or Macoy Dubs, Sassa Gurl, Krissy Achino, Pipay Kipay, Awra Briguela, and the Beks Battalion, among others.

Both Macoy Dubs and KaladKaren thanked Vice for bringing together everyone for a night where they got to celebrate their individualities.

“Ang gabi na ang lahat masaya, lahat maganda at lahat ay nagkakaisa. Masaya sa puso makita sa personal ang mga iniidolo kong personalidad mula sa social media hanggang telebisyon,” Macoy Dubs wrote in a Facebook post.

“Salamat Vice Ganda dahil pinag-isa mo ang community,” he added.

“A night when we all come together to celebrate our individuality, love for one another, and greatness that comes from one family!!! SAVEEEEHHHHHH. I’m so proud of these exceptional human beings!” KaladKaren wrote in her Instagram post.

“Thank you Meme @praybeytbenjamin for gathering our beautiful brothers and sisters sa isang #UNKABOGABALL event!” she added.

Meanwhile, Vice, in a vlog released on Sunday, January 23, shared what happened behind the scenes.

Vice shared the reason why he decided to mount the event. “Ang dami-dami natin ngayon pero hindi tayo magkakakilala. And I don’t think that’s not a good thing na well belong to the same community, na nakikita natin ang mga mukha natin ‘pag nagpupunta tayo sa TikTok, ‘pag nagpupunta tayo ng YouTube pero personally hindi tayo magkakakilala,” Vice explained.

As of this writing, the video has already garnered more than 800,000 views on YouTube.

UnkabogaBall2021 was held at Okada Manila.
