Even before accepting the role as the other woman in the new drama series The Broken Marriage Vow, actress Sue Ramirez said she does not consider her character to be a bad person

I’m really grateful,” she said.

Even though she has a deeper understanding of mistresses because of the show, Sue said it does not mean she condones what they do now.

“Personally, as myself, ang mali ay mali. At alam natin yun. I really cannot say so much because I really don’t have the experience for it. And when it’s time to turn your back on something is wrong, then you have to do it. Because there’s no right way to do something wrong. Ipagtatanggol ko talaga si Lexy kasi there are other women who are also victims. Hindi naman sila lahat masama dito, you have to understand where they are coming from, why they do the things that they do. Dapat maunawaan nila na I think Lexy is also a victim. Victim of flowery words, of broken promises.

During a recent media conference for the show, Sue talked more about what her latest role is all about.

Yoga instructor ako dito from a mayaman na pamilya. Very spoiled. Hindi naman spoiled na brat pero she gets what she wants because nasa tama naman talaga siyang pag-iisip. But you know people get stupid when they fall in love and maybe wala siyang nagawa.

Anticipating the audience’s reaction to her role as a home wrecker, Sue sent out a message in advance to those who will get mad at her onscreen persona.

“Nakupo. May pandemic ngayon (laughs). Sasali pa ako mang-bash (laughs),” she added.
