Long before he became known as a comedian and writer for the long-running television program Bubble Gang, Michael V (real name Beethoven Del Valle Bunagan) first started out in the industry as a singer and rapper under OctoArts records in 1991. He released his debut single “Maganda Ang Piliin (Ayoko Ng Panget)” which was seen as a reply to Andrew E’s hit single “Humanap Ka Ng Panget” which was released the previous year.
Last January 20, the multi-awarded artist shared a throwback photo of one of his first magazine covers the same year of his musical debut. The cover showed a then 21-year-old Michael V in full ‘90s rapper gear. He captioned it simply by writing, “Young Once.”
In 2020, the 52-year-old actor won his battle against the COVID-19 virus. Last year, he also denied rumors of a network transfer.
