After taping his new series The Broken Marriage Vow in a lock-in bubble for over two months last year, Zaijian Jaranilla said he had fun working on the Philippine adaptation of the popular British series Dr. Foster.

Feel mo agad yung Baguio vibes,” he said.

Zaijian admitted he loved dressing up as his character Gio Ilustre who wore layered outfits that were especially chosen for their distinctive local design for the series.

Mahilig kasi ako mag-shorts at mag-tsinelas. Tapos jacket, ganun. Eh sa Baguio ang hirap mag-shorts eh ang lamig (laughs),” he said.

Having joined showbiz at an early age, the former child actor, who first made a name for himself as the eight-year-old Santino in the 2009 series May Bukas Pa, said his secret to staying in showbiz is that he has always wanted to become an actor.

“Walang sikreto eh.

Unlike other actors who might be affected long after doing dramatic scenes, Zaijian said he already knows how to detach from his role once he leaves the set.

After doing TikTok videos as well as a recent photo of him getting vaccinated went viral, Zaijian admitted he never thought netizens would have that kind of reaction to his posts.

“Unexpected.
