Adding to the list of local celebrities who have declared that they recently tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, Eric “Eruption” Tai shared an update on his health on his social media accounts last January 17. The 37-year-old livestreamer and athlete revealed he was now isolating at home away from his wife Rona and son Legend after testing positive for the virus.
In his post, Eruption shared photos of himself inside his house with the caption, “KINULONG AKO NI KUMANDER!
After a bout of body chills, I was tested positive for COVID-19 while everyone else in the house is negative.
I’m sharing this because I want you to know that you are not alone. We are all battling with the unseen enemy, and it just got stealthier with the Omicron variant.
If you got the symptoms, mag-isolate ka and stay home, so we can all help the nation heal.
If you can, get vaccinated.
Reach out to your friends and family members, they may be going through it and sometimes all they need is for people to show they care.
Think positive, but stay negative! SUNTUKAN NA!”
The former It’s Showtime host shared with his followers that he has chosen to keep a positive mindset despite his situation and even wrote in one of the comments, “If you’ve got it, you’re not alone! Mindset pa din! Sleep, sleep, sleep & lots of water! Suntukan lang!”
Eruption also received get-well-soon wishes from his friends in showbiz like Vhong Navarro, Diego Loyzaga, Kakai Bautista, and Enzo Pineda.
