Andoy Ranay impressed with Shanaia Gomez's acting: ‘Parang siyang hindi first-timer’

After working on the newest season of Click, Like, Share, director Andoy Ranay shared where the show’s team gets ideas for the multi-story series which features a different cast per episode.“Yung inspiration ng mga kuwento, from reality, from real-life experiences na nababasa natin o nakikita natin sa social media because we are so in it already. Like the moment we wake up, we get our phone from our bedside table and then we check our social media. So parang ilan na ba yung nag-like ng pinost mo kagabi, ilan na ba yung nag-click? Ilan na ba yung nag-share? Parang ganun eh. Our lives revolve around social media these days. Yung season 1 and season 2 ng Click, Like, Share pinakita natin doon kung ano yung mga pagkakamali in overusing social media, sa pagiging masyado tayong online. Both are very professional and they’re both giving. Hindi sila nagkakailangan. Nag-e-enjoy naman sila sa roles nila so it was very easy for me to direct them. Very collaborative naman silang dalawa. So easy peasy,” he admitted. For the “QR Code” episode, direk Andoy guides Vivoree Esclito in her first starring role. “Actually ang challenge kay Vivoree doon, mukha siyang ngarag pero dapat fresh. Paano yun di ba? She listens so well sa instructions pa lang and nakukuha na niya kagad. Para siyang hindi first-timer. She’s very professional and para siyang clean slate na pumasok and ready to observe and absorb things around her. She did well really. Actually silang dalawa ni Belle sa episode nila ang cute cute nila magkapatid,” he shared. Click, Like, Share is streaming on iWantTFC. With new episodes available every Wednesday, 8 pm.
