With his role as David Ilustre in the new drama series The Broken Marriage Vow, Zanjoe Marudo said he is thankful to get the opportunity to play Jodi Sta. Maria’s philandering husband in the Philippine remake of the hit British series Dr. Foster.

In what promises to be one of the most climactic scenes in the series between him and his onscreen wife Jodi, Zanjoe talked about shooting their “bugbugan” scene.

Almost two months kami dun.

Even the day after they shot the scene, Zanjoe said he was still very much affected by it emotionally and physically.

Unlike his previous projects, Zanjoe said he had to rely on his fellow co-stars to help him relax after doing emotionally draining scenes.

Zanjoe was also thankful to his co-star for her unique way of helping him and other members of the cast relax in between scenes.

“Thankful naman kami na every break time, si doktora Jodi ay may pa-acupuncture sa tenga namin so natatanggal yung mga stress namin, yung anxiety, yung anger, lahat natatanggal. Parang na-re-relax kami. Ang ganda,” he shared.
