From the moment she found out she would be part of the Philippine remake of the hit BBC series Dr. Foster, Sue Ramirez said she was happy to take up the challenge of playing Zanjoe Marudo’s mistress Lexy in the upcoming drama series.

“There was no doubt in my mind actually when they offered this to me. More than doubting, I was very grateful. I know my job as an actor and I know my limitations as a person. So that’s a very good balance to be working on a set like this na very sensitive ang mga pinag-uusapan. Iba iba yung role na gusto kong ginagawa and I think this is something that I’ve really wanted to do pa from before,” she explained during her solo media conference last January 12.

Sue said she has always been vocal about having a longtime crush on Zanjoe in showbiz. The sexy actress said she used this feeling to her advantage while doing the project.

Ibang klaseng gigil.

Even though Zanjoe has already told her to stop referring to him as a “kuya,” Sue admitted it’s a hard habit to break.

Of course, I worked with him sa Annaliza at kuya kuya ko siya dun.

Mas nagagawa ko na yung eksena and everything,” she explained.

While shooting their intense love scenes for the show, Sue said Zanjoe made the process comfortable for her on and off camera.

So mag-a-adjust talaga siya and alam niya na torpe ako so chinu-chummy niya ako bago kami mag-take.
