As part of the cast of Vivamax’s latest action film Hugas, veteran actor Joko Diaz said he is happy to be welcomed back as a Viva artist. The veteran actor was last seen in the kapamilya drama series Kadenang Ginto in 2020.
“Actually di ba nasa ABS-CBN ako nung huling mga taon? It’s just that nagkausap kami ni boss Vic (Del Rosario) at maganda naman ang napag-usapan so heto na, nandidito na ulit sa mother studio,” he said during the Hugas virtual media conference last January 10.
With more than three decades of acting under his belt, Joko said he is happy to be back in the action but is also happy to do other genres if that is what is offered to him, regardless of how big or small the role is.
Right now, wala pa kaming napag-uusapan na ganyan but right now I’m happy just helping the new ones. Tayo’y susunod kung anong sinasabi ng boss natin,” he said.
With his daughter Ashley now following in his footsteps in acting, Joko said he would be happy to do a project with her someday.
“Kumportable naman ako to work with her. Hinahatid sundo ko siya,” he shared.
