Sharon Cuneta is now in isolation after her husband, Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan, tested positive for COVID-19.
The veteran actress shared the news in her post on Instagram Sunday, January 9, saying she has tested negative via antigen testing, but is still awaiting the results of her RT-PCR test.
"Last night, I tested negative on my Antigen. Kiko tested positive on his PCR test results. This morning, all of us at home tested negative on Antigen. A couple of days or so to see this morning’s PCR test results — all of ours," she said.
Worried for the safety of her family, especially her children, Sharon went on to ask her fans and supporters to include them in their prayers.
"We are all isolating in different parts of our home. I worry for my children. Please pray for us all, including our beloved Yayas…Thanks so much," she said.
"So not the birthday gift I expected!" she continued. "Keep safe and take good care, everyone. I love you. May God bless us all."
Fans of the actress around the world quickly offered their prayers and sympathies for Sharon and her family.
"Praying for you @reallysharoncuneta and your family. Mostly all the people around the world are getting sick due to this new virus. Here in Canada, our government gave up already, the best thing we can do is to take care of ourselves and pray," user @gens_gerliesharonian said.

In a separate post, Sharon expressed sadness over the situation her family is currently facing due to COVID-19, saying, "I have not been this lonely in years… and right after the new year came in, right after my birthday..."
Sharon and Kiko have three children — Frankie who is currently in New York for her college studies, Miel, and Miguel.
The actress also has a daughter from her previous marriage to Gabby Concepcion — KC Concepcion, who is now based in Los Angeles, California.
As of this writing, Sharon has yet to confirm whether she and her family members also contracted COVID-19.
The actress, who is dubbed the "Megastar" of local showbiz, currently stars in ABS-CBN's long-running action-series FPJ's Ang Probinsyano.
