Enzo Pineda is ready to take his relationship with his girlfriend, Michelle Vito, to the next level.
The 31-year-old actor recently opened up about his future plans with Michelle in an episode of the podcast PUSH Bets Live!, saying that though there are still some factors to consider, he is willing to settle down with the actress "anytime.
"Of course, we wouldn't be in a relationship right now if hindi namin nakikita 'yung future namin together. Definitely, nasa utak ko 'yun. But as of the moment, I think dapat mag-focus muna kami sa careers namin. And Michelle is also busy with a lot of things," he said.
"Pero ako naman, to be honest, anytime pwede naman ako. Because I really see Michelle as... alam niyo na. And if we're both ready, why not, 'di ba? Ako, game na game ako. I would love to spend my time with Michelle."
Enzo said he feels "blessed" to have someone like Michelle who supports and inspires him to become better in all aspects of his life.
"Kami ni Michelle, we always support each other in any way that we can. And I'm just really blessed to have somebody like her in my life. Kasi isa siya talaga sa reason kung bakit ko ginagawa 'yung mga bagay na [ginagawa ko]. And I wouldn't be the person that I am right now if it wasn't for her," he said.
"Para sa akin, totoo 'yung sinasabi na 'You are who you surround yourself with.' So I'm very blessed to have a woman who supports me in any way that she can and who inspires me to become better in all aspects. Become a better son, brother, boyfriend, citizen, actor. So ang laking factor niya sa buhay ko in why I'm doing this. And I guess, nakikita naman natin na things are going to the right direction."
The actor also recalled how his love story with Michelle began. According to Enzo, he started to develop feelings for the actress when they worked together on the ABS-CBN series Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit.
"I can't say na doon na-develop, pero for me, yes. Nung una kasi sinasabi ni Michelle, 'di niya raw ako type nung una. Okay lang naman 'yun siyempre. Sabi ko okay lang 'yun, basta in the long run papatunayan ko sarili ko sa 'yo, 'yung intentions ko. And nandito lang ako lagi para sa 'yo, para mahalin ka," he said.
"After the show, we started hanging out. After a few months—actually matagal din eh, probably mga six or five months—doon kami naging together officially. So medyo matagal tagal din 'yung panliligaw, but I do like it kasi mas nakikilala mo 'yung tao. And Michelle is also very conservative, so marami kaming mga dates before na hanggang dito lang, hanggang two hours lang. Because 'yun na nga, kailangan ko muna i-build 'yung trust, especially her mom and her dad, her family."
Asked for his favorite moment with Michelle, Enzo said it's the simple and quiet time they share that he values the most.
"Si Michelle kasi is a simple person and ang vina-value niya is consistency. I do enjoy the simple and quiet moments namin together. Na tuwing gabi, naglalaro lang kami ng computer games like Call of Duty, Mobile Legends. Those simple things for me are the ones that matter," he said.
"Of course there are days na we can make it grand because it's our anniversary, pero para sa akin 'yung mga simpleng bagay lang na 'yun na nagba-bonding kami is what matters."
The actor also shared how the COVID-19 pandemic has changed his relationship with Michelle for the better.
"Para sa akin, because of the pandemic, definitely maturity involved. Because kung hindi naman nagka-pandemic, probably I would still be going out a lot with my friends; I guess focus on other things. Pero because of the pandemic, it has, of course, taught me a lot of things, to value my family, Michelle... To value what really matters in life," he said.
"And I think it plays a big factor in why matibay 'yung relationship namin ni Michelle. Kasi parehas kaming nag-focus talaga on the essential things in life."
Michelle and Enzo admitted their relationship to the public in August 2020.
They will be celebrating their second anniversary as a couple this coming February.
Meanwhile, aside from his relationship with Michelle, Enzo also talked about his Best Supporting Actor win at the recent FAMAS Awards for the movie He Who Is Without Sin.
