Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez has finally returned to her hometown of Cebu. Upon her return, the beauty queen took part in a feeding program.

"Finally in Cebu and went straight to work together with SimplyShare Foundation Inc.," she posted on her Instagram page alongside snapshots of the said feeding program.

According to Beatrice, the initiative was able to distribute an estimated 1,000 meals to stranded passengers, truck drivers, and cargo drivers at the Cebu City ports.

"Unknown to most, there are many people who have been stranded in the ports since the onslaught of Super Typhoon Odette due to the limited number of boats, limited frequency of trips, and increased cargo prices," she shared.

Beatrice extended her gratitude to all the donors and those who extended help to the victims of the typhoon.

"THANK YOU to all of our donors and individual sponsors for the trust and support!" she wrote on social media.
