She didn't say when she will be dropping the song, but the teaser indicated that it will be released "soon."

Maris, a mainstay of ASAP Natin 'To, released "Ate Sandali" last June.

The pop track was similarly produced by Balcony Entertainment, which is owned by her boyfriend, OPM icon Rico Blanco.

Maris and Rico, who confirmed their relationship last May, first collaborated in 2019, on a track titled "Abot Langit". They also appeared in the music video for it.

Rico later arranged and produced Maris' song "Not For Me", which she released on her 23rd birthday in September last year.

Of her professional relationship with Rico, Maris said in an interview with PUSH: “I think it just comes naturally. Walang study, walang perfect formula for it. Pero if you get each other then automatic na 'yung connection, 'yung attraction or whatever you call that."

"Minsan kasi may songwriter ka na mami-meet na hindi mo kapareha ng ways, hindi mo kapareha ng technique. Nagkataon lang medyo pareho kaming dalawa that’s why ang bilis namin nakuha 'yung writing ng isa’t isa. Before kasi nag-meet kami through that and then nung nagkaintindihan na, that’s when the music happened," she added.

The actress shared that she has learned a lot from her boyfriend as an artist.

"Hindi pa ako magaling masyado and nung naka-work ko na siya, sobrang nag-iba talaga. Do'n ko natutunan na may rules pala sa music writing. Hindi pala writing your heart out lang, may pattern pala na pina-follow but at the same time adding your taste and your kind of art to it," she said.

Asked if she thinks that their romance helps them create good music together, Maris said: “Wala siya sa equation sa first part, eh. Biglaan na lang siyang nangyari. Parang hindi namin in-expect 'yon na mangyayari. Our collaboration was only for music lang and then may surprise na nangyari."
