Actress Kylie Verzosa surprised her fans on Monday, September 6, with snaps from a sexy pictorial she did to promote her upcoming movie The Housemaid.
In the shots taken by celebrity photographer BJ Pascual, Kylie can be seen lying naked in a bathtub filled with what appears to be blood.
"Dripping in blood, but whose blood?" Kylie wrote in the caption of her post on Instagram.
In a separate post, Kylie said she was still in awe to be playing her first title role, not to mention the most challenging one she has played to date.
"I poured my blood, tears, and sweat to give life to Daisy and I can’t wait for everyone to meet her," she said.
The Housemaid is the Philippine adaptation of the hit South Korean film of the same name, which competed for the Palme d'Or at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in 2010.
Based on its official synopsis, the movie follows the story of Daisy, a new maid to a wealthy family whose task is to watch over a young child, but unknowingly, is being watched by the child's father. When temptation kicks in, Daisy and the wealthy family's lives start to shatter.
Directed by Roman Perez, Jr., the film also stars Albert Martinez, Louise Delos Reyes, Alma Moreno, and Elia Eliano, with the special participation of Jaclyn Jose.

Previously, Kylie explained why she considers The Housemaid as her most challenging role to date.
She also admitted that she had second thoughts about accepting the project, considering that it's very different from all the roles she's played in the past.
The Housemaid will stream exclusively on Vivamax beginning September 10. It will also show in UAE cinemas on September 9.
