Various celebrities registered to vote for the upcoming 2022 elections.

Couple Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo are among those who recently registered.

"Nakapag parehistro na kami! Yes! Gusto namin ng pagbabago.. parehistro na po ang mga hindi pa nagreregister.. may isang linggo pa para makapag parehistro. Let’s all UNITE and VOTE!" Juday posted on her Instagram page.


Ryan also encouraged his followers to register to vote for the upcoming elections.

"The first step in making sure our voice is heard," he wrote

Kapamilya singer Gary Valenciano also registered recently.

"I’m finally registeredThanks to the Antipolo government for all the support! Every vote counts my friend. Let's do our part in choosing our next set of leaders. I am praying for wisdom & discernment for all of the voters & for the leaders of our country," he wrote.

Ruffa Gutierrez also shared her voter's registration journey on Instagram.

"Hi, I’m Sharmaine Ruffa Gutierrez from Quezon City! Let’s exercise our right to vote in the coming 2022 presidential elections for a brighter Philippines," she said.

"It’s important to ensure everyone’s voices are heard on May 9, 2022. Remember, YOUR VOTE MAKES A DIFFERENCE," she added.

On Wednesday, September 29, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) announced that it will be extending the voter registration from October 11 to 30.

"Extension is from October 11 to 30; Monday-Friday, no Saturdays, except for the last day (October 30), 8 am to 5 pm. All registration services offered," Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez announced on Wednesday.
