Peter Rosalita's journey on America's Got Talent concluded after he was eliminated from the show on Wednesday, September 1 (US time).

"What [a] journey it has been! It's truly an honor to be part of @AGT season 16," Peter posted on his Twitter page.

The young Filipino singer also thanked the show's judges Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel. He also extended his gratitude to host Terry Crews.

"[Thank you] for the good words I have received from all of you," he tweeted.

The singer also added, "Lastly, to all my fans and supporters all over the world. You guys are amazing and hopefully I will meet you someday! Thank you, Shukran, Maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat! I love you all!"

Peter's last performance on the show was singing Mariah Carey's  “Without You" which received praises from the judges despite a small hiccup at the start of his performance.

“What happened at the beginning was amazing because to me, it showed me the command that you have on the stage. You didn’t miss a beat. You knew what you needed to do, and here you are,” Sofia Vergara told the singer after his performance.

Simon Cowell added, "The fact that you knew that you missed the intro, you took control. We are a live show but, ‘You know what, let’s start again.’ I’m thinking, good for you! And then you delivered that amazing vocal."

Peter is a Filipino citizen who is currently living in the United Arab Emirates.
