Sarah Alcasid, the youngest daughter of singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid, has turned 19.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, September 2, Ogie said he could not wait to be reunited with his daughter as he greeted her a happy birthday.

"Happiest bday my dear sweetheart Sarah. All of 19 years today. I miss you so much my darling and hoping that we could see each other soon. This photo was taken Jan 23 of 2020 and I can’t wait till I see you again. I am very proud of you and all that you do most especially your dedication to your studies. I love you very much!!!" he said.

Sarah, who is based in Australia, is Ogie's daughter with his former wife, former beauty queen Michelle van Eimeren.

They have another daughter, Leila Alcasid, who followed in the musical footsteps of her father and joined the entertainment industry in 2017.

Leila, 23, is best known for her songs "Clouds", "Completely In Love", and "I'm Not". Last year, she marked a milestone as she became part of 88rising's Philippines label, Paradise Rising, alongside artists Kiana Valenciano, Jason Dhakal, and Fern.

Ogie's marriage with Michelle was annulled in 2007, but the two maintained an amicable relationship.

Ogie is now married to his fellow singer Regine Velasquez. The celebrity couple celebrated their 10th anniversary in December 2020. They have one child together, Nate.
