In just two months, Gab Valenciano was able to transform his body from lean to buff.

The 33-year-old performer recently surprised his fans as he showed off his amazing body transformation in before-and-after photos on Instagram.

"Physical and mental health is the true definition of wealth. Earlier this year, I wasn’t in a good place, battled anxiety and lost 20 pounds due to not eating and not sleeping properly. My mental struggles manifested, hence, my critical weight loss," he wrote in the caption.

"Considering that my weight is my greatest insecurity, it really messed me up. I hated what I saw in the mirror, so I had to make a choice. And I chose to fight. I surrounded myself with people who pushed me, who encouraged me and who helped me gain back my fire. And that goal was to start loving and taking care of ‘me’ again," he said.

Gab credited those who stuck by him for helping him get back on track.

"You all are the real MVPs of my life," he said. "I feel stronger than ever, confident, and most importantly, happy."

He also left an inspiring message for his fans.

"Make a decision to be better today, just life in general, and take it one day at a time. No need to rush. You’ll get there, you just need to keep walking towards the right direction," he said.

Just recently, Gab, who in 2019 revealed that he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and clinical depression, shared an appreciation post for those who "kept his heart beating" when he was struggling with his mental health.

"I just want to say thank you. Thank you to every single person who raised me up. I appreciate you because there were points in my life where I just didn’t know where to go. But there you guys were, lighting the way. To my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to my family, my friends, my loved ones (and those who visited and messaged who I wasn’t able to include in this post) and even complete strangers who encouraged me through every social platform, thank you," he wrote in his previous post.

"With every hospitalization, every realization, every lesson learned, every misstep and every big and small battle won, I am living the life I need to be living right now and I am exactly where I need be," he said. "I am far from perfect and I have a very long way to go, but I am excited to strive, to aspire and to reach for as many stars as I can. I am excited to see where this insane adventure of a life takes me and in turn, help others achieve wonders, dream wildly and live a purpose-driven life."

The son of Gary Valenciano and Angeli Pangilinan said there are not enough words to express his gratitude to those who helped him reach this point.

"Thank you to each and every person who helped me get to this point. I will never, ever forget," he said, adding, "I am alive because of you."
