"My dear Mimi, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" she began.

"When you came to my life, was the day I start really living… You have given me my 'WHY’s'. Why I should live. Why I breathe. Why I dream again. Why I believe… Why I want to be the best version of myself."

Iwa went on to express how proud she is of Hiromi. She also vowed to always be there to love and support her daughter.

"Anak ko. Hindi mo lang alam kung gaano kita kamahal. How PROUD I am to be your mom. You are a blessing to all the people around you because of how kind you are. Such a responsible, smart, funny and loving person," she said.

"Always remember that mommy is your best friend. And you can ALWAYS COUNT ON MOMMY! I will forever be there for you. In every journey you take.  I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART!  Happy birthday again!" she added.

Iwa shares Hiromi with her long-time partner, Panfilo "Pampi" Lacson, Jr. They also have a son named Caleb Jiro, whom they welcomed in January.

Aside from his kids with Iwa, Pampi also has an older son with actress Jodi Sta. Maria named Thirdy.

In a previous interview with The Asian Parent, Iwa shared the most rewarding thing about having a daughter.

"Everything," she said. "The laughter we share. The memories we make. And every time she holds my face and looks into my eyes and tells me she loves me."

She also talked about her daughter's personality and interests, saying Hiromi took after her.

"She's great. She loves to eat, sing, and dance. Makulit sobra. And super sweet. Definitely, she got it from me!" she said.

"Just to grow up a happy and healthy kid, then become successful in any path she takes," she said.
