After being cast in the role as Albert Martinez’s young wife in the local remake of the South Korean film The Housemaid, Louise Delos Reyes said she had no regrets not getting the lead role and accepting being one of the supporting characters to Kylie Verzosa’s titular role.

Unlike her onscreen role, Louise said she grew up not being too dependent on their house helpers.

Now at 29-years-old, the former child actress who started her career in showbiz as part of Ang TV 2 said that she is happy to do things for herself like driving herself to work.

Dina-drive ko lang din yung sarili ko sa work so wala talaga akong masasabing very dependent ako sa kanila. Ngayon meron kami actually parang caretaker sa bahay and I’m very thankful kapag may mga times na hindi ko alam kung anong lulutuin at siya ang nagluluto. Pero aside from that, I’m pretty independent person,” she added.
