She has already fulfilled her dreams of becoming an actress and a beauty queen.
But Pia Wurtzbach still has yet to see her ultimate dream realized, and that is to become a theater actor.
In her latest vlog, where she answered questions sent by her fans on Instagram, the former Miss Universe shared that she has always dreamed about joining theater, saying it is her big "what if" in life.
"My ultimate dream? 'Wag kayo tatawa ha. Theater is my ultimate dream. It's my big what if in life. Ibang discipline 'yan. But I really have high, high respects for theater actors and actresses. Parang ibang mundo siya," she said.
"Every time I watch a play or a musical in person, I feel like I'm being transported into that world, and I can't help but think na grabe, and galing nila. Ang galing nilang lahat, like, kahit saan ako tumingin may nangyayari," she added.
Noting that theater takes a lot of talent and discipline, Pia said: "Ang theater kasi, from my understanding, 'di ako expert, but theater is a kind of discipline where... wala kasing cut 'di ba sa theater? Walang cut, take two, walang ganun. You only get one chance to do it because live siya.
"Basta, it's my big what if in life," she added.
Pia, 31, was already an actress before she ventured into pageantry and later won the Miss Universe pageant in 2015.
As Pia Romero, her former stage name, she was seen on TV via the teen-oriented series K2BU, and on the big screen via films Kung Ako Na Lang Sana and All About Love. As Pia Wurtzbach, she starred in the blockbuster movies Gandarrapido: The Revenger Squad and My Perfect You, which was her first film in a lead role.
Meanwhile, in her vlog, Pia also shared how she handles the cultural differences between her and her boyfriend Jeremy Jauncey, who is half-Scottish, half-Colombian.
"Communication is so important. Kailangan nag-uusap kayong dalawa. Magkaibang tao kayo so it's not fair to expect na mage-gets agad or mag-a-adjust agad. Pareho kayo, kailangan may understanding at kailangan mag-adjust. Pag-usapan niyo lang. Open communication is so important," she said.
She went on: "Thankfully, he finds my little Pinay quirks to be very charming.
The beauty queen, who was just recently in Abu Dhabi to spend time with her boyfriend, also answered whether she is planning to live abroad permanently.
"Hindi ko pa masabi ngayon although I'm not closing my doors. Pwede rin pala ako mag-work dito. So living here in UAE made me realize that there are other markets that I haven't tapped yet, and I'm definitely open to exploring those other markets," she said.
"Does that mean I want to live abroad? Hmm, I can't say for sure now, pero pwede. Tingnan natin. Let's see where life leads me," she added.
