Taylor Swift releases ‘Wildest Dreams (Taylor's Version)’ after song trends on TikTok

Taylor Swift released the re-recording of her 1989 smash hit "Wildest Dreams" amid the song going viral on social media platform TikTok.

Titled "Wildest Dreams (Taylor's Version)," the global pop star released the song on September 17.

"Hi! Saw you guys got ‘Wildest Dreams’ trending on TikTok, thought you should have my version," she posted.


Taylor also posted a video of herself doing the TikTok trend using the "Wildest Dreams" re-recording.

The TikTok video has already gained 31 million views as of this writing.

"Wildest Dreams (Taylor's Version)" will be part of 1989 (Taylor's Version). The singer has yet to announce the release of the re-recorded album.

Taylor decided to re-record her albums after her former record label Big Machine Records was bought by music manager Scooter Braun in 2019, which gave the latter the rights to her master recordings.
