now that she's officially a Kapamilya.
"I would love to do Panday. As a woman. That's a dream," she said.
According to Lovi, in the 15 years that she's been acting, one genre that she still has yet but has been wanting to do is action.
"Of course happy ako na I've been doing drama. I've done romantic comedies. But isang 'di ko pa nagagawang genre is action, so 'yan ang gusto kong gawin," she said.
When asked whether she's open to joining the long-running primetime series FPJ's Ang Probinsyano, which is a remake of her father's 1996 blockbuster film Ang Probinsyano, Lovi answered in the affirmative.
"Definitely! The show has been running and has been very successful. And of course, I would love to be part of that. And the fact that it's, of course, Mr. Coco Martin and also, because it's Papa's movie, then why not? That would be amazing," she said.
Lovi, 32, signed on Thursday, September 16, a contract with ABS-CBN, after more than 15 years with GMA.
Asked what she thinks would her father's reaction be over her network transfer, the actress said: "I'm a lot closer to people who's been with him. And being around people who've worked with my dad, even took care of my dad, and made him grow to become this person, I'm sure, he'd feel so happy and would say—since everyone here took care of him—that I'm in good hands. I'm sure my dad is smiling right now."
She also dedicated her newest career milestone to her father. On the day of her contract-signing, Lovi took to Instagram to share a photo of herself, captioned, along with heart emojis in red, green, and blue: "Para sa 'yo, Papa."
