After doing projects like Hanggang Kailan and My Bakit List in 2019, Louise Delos Reyes returns to films this year in the latest Vivamax sexy thriller The Housemaid where she plays the role of Albert Martinez’s wife. The film is a local remake of the 2010 Korean film of the same name.

Walang in passing lang. And meron akong film enthusiast na kaibigan at alam niya itong film na ‘to kaya alam kong yung mga critics ma-e-excite sila kapag nalaman nilang merong bagong remake na The Housemaid,” she shared during The Housemaid mediacon last September 7.

For her latest role as Roxanne, Louise admitted that getting the right hair color proved to be a challenge.

So magandang mishap siya (laughs),” she explained.

While working closely with veteran actors Albert Martinez and Jaclyn Jose on the project, Louise said she has learned a lot from just being on the same set as them.

With tita Jaclyn (Jose) naman sobrang prangka niya. And yun yung pinaka rewarding na part kasi parang wow okay pumasa ako (laughs),” she said.

Even though she has already played lead roles in both television and movies, Louise said there was no issue with her playing a supporting character to lead star Kylie Verzosa in The Housemaid

Madalas binibigay sa akin either comedy or drama. Ito may pagka sexy thriller, alam mo yun. And na-nominate siya (referring to the original version) sa Cannes Film Festival. Sinong tatanggi sa ganung character? Lahat ng projects na tinatanggap ko talaga, it’s either mag-go-grow ako as an artist or yung talagang sasabihin ko na ginawa ko ‘tong movie na ito and I’m super proud of it,” she said.

The Housemaid, a Vivamax Original movie will be available for tsreaming exclusively on Vivamax  starting September 10. Directed by Roman Perez.
