Here's how you can stay fit at home, according to actress and fitness enthusiast Jessy Mendiola.
In a recent vlog, Jessy shared her home workout routine, which only requires a chair and a mat. She said the program was created by her trainer, fitness coach George Castro.
She started by jogging in place and doing jumping jacks for 60 seconds each as her warmup. She then proceeded to do three sets of 10 to 15 repetitions of pushups on her knees, bodyweight squats, bodyweight jump squats, tricep chair dips, planks, high-knees in place, crunches, and wall sits.
"Ang rest natin in between sets, kahit 30 seconds to a minute lang," she said.
"[Pero] kung hindi kaya ng seconds or a minute, okay lang na mas matagal basta 'yung kayang kaya niyo lang," she added.

Towards the end of the vlog, Jessy stressed the importance of staying active and healthy, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Palaging tandaan kailangang healthy tayo mas lalo na sa panahon ngayon," she said. "Hindi lang sa panahon ngayon kundi dapat forever. Alagaan natin ang mga sarili natin."
