Angel Locsin, who recently announced that she's now a married woman, did not forget to thank her fellow actress and longtime friend Dimples Romana for witnessing her marriage to film producer Neil Arce.

On Instagram on Sunday, August 8, Angel shared photos of Dimples getting emotional during her civil wedding to Neil, along with the playful caption, "Excuse me… are you the mother?"

She went on to share a conversation between her and Dimples when she invited her to be a witness at her wedding, which went like this:

"Mars? Pwede ka bang mag-witness? Kailangan pala. Hehe.

“Oo naman. Anong kailangan mo? Anong isusuot?

“Kahit ano lang. Jeans.

“Wala kang kwentang kausap. 'Di nga?

“Pants lang mars. Kung ano lang ang suot mo. Kahit naka-slippers.

“Sa harap ng mayor, naka-tsinelas?! Mag-ayos ka naman!"

Angel then said: "Ang pakiusap ko lang, let’s protect Dimples Romana at all costs. Mahal na mahal ko 'yan."

It was on Saturday, August 7, when Angel and Neil grabbed headlines after announcing that they are now married.

They shared the exciting news by sharing photos from their civil wedding on their respective Instagram pages, and through a vlog post they uploaded on their YouTube channel, titled "Lipat Bahay Gang."
