Aware si Sharon Cuneta na ikinagulat talaga ng marami including her Sharonians ang role niya sa pelikulang Revirginized ng Viva Films na idinirek ni Darryl Yap. Nang lumabas ang trailer ng pelikula sa social media ay hindi rin naiwasang magkaroon ng violent reactions ang kanyang fans.Ayon kay Sharon, sa edad niya ngayon at sa dami na rin ng mga pelikulang nagawa niya ay panahon na raw para mag-experiment naman siya at tumanggap ng roles na hindi niya dati ginagawa.Paliwanag niya, “From Dear Heart, always the simple, the true, the good, the beautiful, the wholesome, the sweet, the matino, the disente, you know. When we were shooting it, alam ni Direk, minsan may mga eksenang… ‘Diyos ko, Direk! Talaga bang gagawin ko ‘to? Talaga bang sasabihin ko ‘to? Pero hindi, artista ako. Susundin kita.’“I trust fully, totally in my director, in the story.
