OPM band Ben&Ben released on Sunday, August 29, their much-awaited album Pebble House Volume 1: Kuwaderno, which includes their new collaboration with Pinoy supergroup SB19, titled "Kapangyarihan."

The song was first released by Ben&Ben's Miguel and Paulo Benjamin Guico last December, in response to the cold-blooded murder of Sonya and Frank Gregorio by former police officer Jonel Nuezca in Tarlac. In the new version, they tapped SB19's John Paulo Nase to add a few lines.

"Akala niyo ba, ang kapangyarihan ay nasa inyo? Sino ba kayo? 'Di naman kami nagkulang sa aming pag-uunagawa. 'Di ka namin isusuka kung hindi ka pa sukdulan. Huwag niyong tapakan ang katarungan," a portion of the lyrics go.

Incidentally, the release of the new version of "Kapangyarihan" comes just a few days after Nuezca was found guilty of murder and sentenced to Reclusion Perpetua. You can listen to the powerful song below:

Currently, the lyric video of "Kapangyarihan" is one of the top trending music videos on YouTube, with nearly 273,000 views.

"Kapangyarihan" marks the second time Ben&Ben and SB19—two of the country's biggest acts—have joined forces. Last June, they collaborated for a new version of the latter's song "MAPA", which is a touching tribute to parents.
