Filipino skateboarder Margielyn Didal made the Philippines proud after she finished seventh place at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics last July. Now, the Pinoy athlete is set for new endeavors as she collaborated with the international fashion brand H&M for The Skate Drop, a clothing collection specifically selected by Margielyn.
Margielyn showed some skateboarding tricks in the latest video featuring The Skate Drop collection that H&M posted on their Facebook page on Monday, August 30.
A press release from the brand said that the campaign was shot in Margielyn’s hometown Cebu, together with national skateboarding federation Skate Pilipinas. “With this campaign, Margielyn gives us a look into her own world as she gives us her exclusive picks from our contemporary street pieces,” it said.
The collection launches on August 30 on H&M’s website and physical stores, as well as on ZALORA.
