Sarah Geronimo recently took social media by storm when she debuted her pixie haircut.

And on Monday, August 1, the singer set her fans abuzz anew after photos of her sporting an even shorter hairstyle made the rounds online.

Snaps of the "Tala" hitmaker's fresh look were first shared by celebrity hairstylist RJ dela Cruz on Instagram.

He didn't say, however, if Sarah was just wearing a wig or if she really went for an even shorter haircut.

Nevertheless, many fans of the singer were quick to compliment her new hairstyle in the comments section of his post, with some saying she looked like Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry and Grammy-winning singer Toni Braxton in the photos.

"Parang Toni Braxton na maputi," wrote one fan.

"Halle Berry of the Philippines ang peg. The Catwoman!" another said.

It was in late June—during the fifth anniversary celebration of a membership shopping center she and her husband Matteo Guidicelli both endorse—when Sarah surprised her fans with her pixie haircut. At that time, it was the shortest her hair has ever been since her showbiz debut.

Sarah celebrated her 33rd birthday last July 25.

Last March, the singer dubbed "Popstar Royalty" staged Tala: The Film Concert as a treat for her loyal fans.

Directed by Paul Basinillo, the digital film concert featured Sarah's performances of some of her hit songs, as well as a documentary chronicling the making of the show, staged at the Araneta Coliseum.

Tala is considered as Sarah's big stage comeback after her joint concert with Regine Velasquez, Unified, which was held in February 2020, prior to the COVID-19 lockdown.

It was also her first concert since she got married to Matteo, her partner of more than seven years.

The two celebrated their first anniversary as a married couple last February.
