The Thai artist is the latest BLACKPINK member to debut as a solo artist. Her fellow member Jennie, on the other hand, debuted as a solo artist as early as 2018.
Lisa auditioned as a trainee for YG Entertainment back in 2010. She then went on to become the first non-Korean trainee of the said agency which is most notably known for producing other groups such as 2NE1.
In 2016, she debuted as part of the K-Pop group BLACKPINK. Other members of BLACKPINK include Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé.
Last year, Lisa delighted her fans when a local lifestyle and clothing brand she is endorsing released a video of her speaking in Tagalog.
BLACKPINK has released songs such as “How You Like That,” “Kill This Love,” and “DDU, DDU, DU.”
Dubbed as one of the biggest K-Pop girl groups in the world, BLACKPINK made history when the girls became the first Korean girl group to perform at the Coachella music festival.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK topped the Bloomberg Pop Star Power Rankings list for this year.
