With the much-anticipated Pinoy superhero series Darna set to resume shooting this September, lead star Jane De Leon said goodbye to her guest role in the long-running action drama series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. The 22-year-old Kapamilya actress shared a gratitude post on her Instagram account last Friday, August 20, which also marked her character Lia Mante’s departure from the series.

Jane wrote, “Nagpapasalamat po ako unang-una kay Lord, sa Dreamscape Family, ABS-CBN Management and Bosses for giving me the opportunity na mapabilang sa Primetime Seryeng FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. Sa buong cast and Production, Lalong-lalo na kay Direk Coco Martin for being so supportive sa pag-alalay sa bawat eksenang gagawin ko. It was an honor and privilege for me to be casted and be part of the show. Thank you for the warm welcome. It was worth the experience.”

Lia Mante, MARAMING MARAMING SALAMAT PO SA INYONG SUPORTA. “Hanggang sa muli! “THIS IS CAPT. LIA MANTE - SIGNING OFF.”

Earlier this year, Jane admitted it was a real dream come true for her to be invited to join the long-running show. She played the role of black ops sniper Lia Mante and was introduced as part of the new cast members along with Paolo Paraiso, Geoff Eigenmann, Vance Larena, Marc McMahon, and AJ Raval.

In a previous interview, Jane also shared her experience working up close with actor and director Coco Martin.
