The trailer for Kim Seon-ho's upcoming Korean series with Shin Min-a has finally been released.
On Thursday, August 12, Netflix posted the trailer for the romantic-comedy series Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha much to the delight of the fans.
Seon-ho will play the role of Hong Du-sik, a handyman who always helps the people in the seaside village called Gongjin.
Meanwhile, Min-a portrays the role of Yoon Hye-jin, a dentist who moves to Gongjin.
The trailer showed the funny and kilig interactions of Seon-ho and Min-a's characters.
In an interview with Naver as translated by Soompi, the Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha stars talked about their onscreen chemistry in the series.
"If I had to sum up Hye Jin and Doo Shik’s chemistry in one phrase, it would be ‘four-beat rhythm.’ That’s how in tune they are with one another. Although it seems like they’re always bickering, when a difficult situation arises, their teamwork is unparalleled," Min-a shared.
Meanwhile, Seon-ho said, "I think Hye Jin and Doo Shik’s chemistry is like shikhye (a type of sweet Korean rice drink). Just like how people crave refreshing and sweet shikhye in the sweltering heat of summer, I want to give viewers a refreshing and sweet feeling that will have them thinking often of our Shik-Hye couple.”
Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha will premiere on Netflix on August 28 at 10PM.
