Television host Mariel Rodriguez celebrated her 37th birthday with her family on Tuesday, August 10, amid the enhanced community quarantine.
On Instagram, Mariel credited her husband, action star Robin Padilla, for preparing her birthday celebration as she admitted to having "major birthday blues" because of the current situation all over the world due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"37!!! With ECQ, Covid situation and everything else, I had major birthday blues. For the first time, I had no celebration in mind. So @robinhoodpadilla ordered my favorites from @nawwtyskitchen to feel the birthday spirit," said Mariel.
She went on to express her gratitude to her family and friends who made her birthday special. Among them were host Boy Abunda, who sent her flowers ("Tito Boy has never missed a birthday.), and celebrity sisters Toni and Alex Gonzaga, who sent her food ("The Gonzaga sisters... always so thoughtful.").
Just in time for her 37th birthday, Mariel, who is also a vlogger, hit 1 million subscribers on video-sharing site YouTube.
In her post, Mariel said she considers her latest social media achievement as an "amazing birthday gift" from her fans.
Mariel has been giving her followers a glimpse of her personal life, particularly as a wife and mother, through her vlog.
