Fans and celebrity friends of Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin could not help but appreciate her beauty in the new snaps she posted on Instagram on Wednesday, July 7.

In the photos, which have since gone viral on social media, Angel is seen wearing makeup while she poses for the camera.

"Sweet like candy to your soul," she wrote in the caption, crediting celebrity makeup artist Anthea Bueno for her look.

"Iba talaga," wrote Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda, who is a known close friend of Angel, in the comments section of her post.

Meanwhile, his wife, former actress and entrepreneur Neri Naig, said: "Ganda ganda mo talaga! Paturo ng ganyang emote."

Both hosts Ciara Sotto and Amy Perez wrote "beautiful", while actresses Marian Rivera, Dimples Romana, Arci Munoz, Loisa Andalio, Carla Abellana, and supermodel Georgina Wilson were seemingly left speechless, leaving only fire and heart-eyed emojis.

Even Angel's fiance, film producer Neil Arce, could not help but gush over the actress' glam shots.

"Ayoko na magtrabaho. Gusto na kita puntahan now na," he said.

Angel, 36, was last seen as host of the ABS-CBN public service program "Iba 'Yan", which showcased ordinary people with extraordinary stories with an aim to highlight the strength of the Filipino spirit.

The show, directed by Neil, was one of the actress' many initiatives to help in the country’s efforts to fight the COVID-19 crisis since the start of the pandemic last year. The program aired its final episode last June 27.
