Ahead of her 10th year anniversary in show business, Liza Soberano graced the digital cover of Metro.Style.
"#LizaSoberano returns as a muse for Metro. The cover girl, who recently took on the main voice role for Netflix's 'Trese,' talks about her journey of finding and owning her voice in an industry where authenticity can be a double-edged sword," Metro.Style posted on social media.
The digital fashion magazine shared an excerpt from their interview with Liza, wherein the actress opened up about her thoughts on choosing to voice out her opinion on relevant social topics despite fear of being criticized.
“I always struggle whether I’m going to speak up on a certain topic or not, because I myself have received so much backlash, and it can be scary... As long as you know that you’re not alone, especially if you’re fighting for what’s right, you shouldn’t be afraid," she remarked.
Alexandra Trese is the inspiration for Liza's look for the digital cover.
The actress took to social media to thank her team for making the Metro.Style cover happen.
"What better way to celebrate my 10th year in the showbiz industry than on @metromagph. Thanks to the creative dream team for making this all possible!!" she said.
