Former beauty queen Miriam Quiambao took to social media to share her experience giving birth a week after she welcomed her miracle baby.

She wrote: “It’s been a week since I gave birth via scheduled cesarean section to my miracle baby Ezekial Isaiah ‘Baby Ziki’ Roberto and what a week it has been!”

She opened up about the various emotions she felt at the time as fear slowly crept into the back of her mind.

“It was a roller coaster of emotions as memories of my first CS came to mind. I was both excited and anxious at the same time. Some fears dared to creep at the back of my mind,” she remarked.

She also made an unusual move to help ease her birthing process as she played an album through the whole process.

“I’m so grateful to God’s never-ending grace whose presence never left my side. Listening to the ‘Childbirth In The Glory’ album from Spotify helped me be grounded in His word and gave me the faith, the strength and the mindset as I prayed and believed God for a supernatural birth,” she said.

“The doctors were kind enough to allow me to play the album inside the OR and whenever I felt anxious, a timely verse came out from the speakers which gave me renewed faith and strength to face the ordeal ahead,” she added.

She also faced challenges inside her own home as her family tried to adjust to her situation.

“Barely 4 hours of intermittent sleep per night, the pain of engorgement and my C-section, adjustments in the household are just some of the challenges to contend with,” she shared.

Meanwhile, the inspirational speaker extended her gratitude to everyone who helped her with her journey including her husband who stayed with her inside the operating room.

“I am grateful to my husband @ardyroberto for journeying with me from the beginning til the end: staying with me in the hospital, caring for me and the baby. And now our journey as new parents are just beginning again,” she said.

“Thank you to the medical team headed by OB/Gyne Extraordinaire @dr.beckysingson who made sure that I get the utmost medical care,” she added.

“I thank all the staff of @asianhospitalph for the warm welcome and their assistance in ensuring that our stay will be most comfortable and for allowing my husband to be in the OR with me,” she continued.

The 46-year-old mom thanked her nurse for taking care of her and her mom-in-law for looking after her household.

“A special shout-out to Bedside Nurse Che Agosto for her tender loving care. Nursing a newborn as well as a C-section surely was much easier because of her,” she remarked.

“Thank you to Mommy @corrie_roberto for jumping in to take care of the kids and the household while we were gone. We wouldn’t able to manage without you,” she said.

Miriam documented her birthing process in a YouTube vlog. Watch the video below:

“Thanks as well to friends & family who prayed and journeyed with us.

‘For a short documentary of the events surrounding Baby Ziki’s birth, you are welcome to visit our YT Channel: Life with Ardy and Miriam,” she stated.

This is not the first time Miriam gave birth to a miracle baby. Two years ago, she gave birth to a baby at the age 44.
