Enchong Dee went around Metro Manila to give back to 600 families in Metro Manila.
Enchong, who recently purchased a new place for himself, partnered with Mundo Design + Build to help him with his renovation project.
But instead of simply partnering with them to make his new place look better, the 32-year-old actor — a known philanthropist — decided to give back to families in Metro Manila.
“We have plans na gawin for other people and something for my own place which I’m very, very excited because I’m actually looking for someone who can renovate, make it better with the new place that I’m getting,” Enchong said.
According to Enchong, the idea of supporting a community became even bigger after extending help to a larger community.
“At first, it was really more of just giving something to the community — which is 100 percent I’m fine with that. Pero sabi ko I have this idea wherein what if we can extend it to people that I support personally,” he said.
A celebrity with millions of followers, Enchong said paying things forward is the right thing to do.
“And I’m so excited because I know that we will have a different content for that. And giving back is something really close to my heart. I think we have a responsibility and we’re put in this position for a reason. So, let’s pay it forward,” he said.
Also an entrepreneur, Enchong added: “The business is good and so it’s only right to give back.”
While he wasn’t able to personally attend the distribution, Enchong said he is still happy to be part of what he has done alongside Mundo for the community.
“How I wish I could be there. Pero katulad nung sinabi ko sa inyo, I’m still waiting for my vaccination. But guys, whatever you are doing now right there, naiinggit ako kasi part din ako niyan,” he said.
“Pero thank you very much for doing this. Sabi ko nga, I’m really excited with the partnership, with the collaboration that Enchong and Mundo Builders are going to do. But more excited with what you’re doing now for the community, for our country. I’m so excited to be partnering with you,” he added.
