While working on several acting projects this year, veteran actress Carmi Martin shared that it was while she was doing the online sitcom GVBOYS: Pangmalakasang Good Vibes that was the hardest for her because their lock-in taping coincided with the passing of one of her four pet dogs Chloe Marie.

Carmi plays the role of a Fil-Korean landlord in director Don Cuaresma’s latest series.

Carmi admitted that her dogs are a source of happiness to her and she has always considered them as family members.

Nakaka-good vibes sa akin yung aking mga dogs. Pero during the filming of GV Boys ang nakaka-bad vibes sa akin when my one dog died during filming na wala ako sa bahay. Talagang nalungkot ako pero I cannot express my loneliness kasi ayoko naman, being a professional, ayokong idawit ang buong taping na ako lumuluha dun at nagwawala or something. I just calmly na umiiyak sa isang tabi,” she recalled.

Having started showbiz in her late teens, the 57-year-old actress says her preparations for a role have not changed that much through the years.

The talented comedienne also shares why she appreciated the new process of taping in the new normal.

GVBOYS: Pangmalakasang Good Vibes stars Jerome Ponce, Nikko Natividad, Dave Bornea, Wilma Doesn’t, Elsa Droga, and Ms. Carmi Martin and is now available for streaming on Puregold Channel’s Facebook and YouTube pages.
