“I was there with her. I was taking care of her then nagpa-test siya, it came out positive so I got to test din,” kuwento ni Diego sa PUSH at sa ilang entertainment press sa ginanap na face to face presscon ng Encounter na ipapalabas sa Vivamax simula July 23.
Wala akong naramdaman, I’m asymptomatic.
“Wala pang two weeks, I tested negative already. Parang it passed me lang. Pero Barbie was okay, she got better.
Aniya, “Honestly, I’m speaking for myself, it wasn't difficult like other people experiencing (it) around the world. Yung pinagdaanan namin wasn't so bad, thank God. Pero the virus itself is not a joke kasi there's people dying around the world because of it. Pero 'yung sa aming dalawa, we were okay. Thank God.”
“There was a time back in... it wasn’t just one specific time pero siguro the whole course of 2018 until late 2019—the entire year, I was in a hot spot. There were certain things I was praying for night after night. Gabi-gabi talaga.
“And I was just saying, ‘God talagang if you just give me or show me how I can make it there.
“And every day He gave me some way or sign na, ‘Darating ka doon.’ It wasn’t just one night, eh, it wasn’t just one night. It’s how many nights of me doing the same routine, these same prayers.
“And He would give me signs talaga in the weirdest ways—whether I’d be somebody I would see na would say something to me na parang may double meaning, na parang this is God’s way of telling me na parang I’m supposed to do this or parang I shouldn’t go here or do that.
“And until it all made sense and it brought me back to where I am today and I have no one else to thank but Him talaga. I know it’s a higher power, I know it was God,” dagdag ni Diego na hindi pa rin idinetalye kung particular incident ang kanyang tinutukoy.
“I wish I can be more specific about what those things. But I leave it muna at that,” bitin niyang pahayag. “But I know talaga it’s the higher power controlling yung mga nangyayari. Sobrang galing talaga.
