Both Sabina and Quia are adopted daughters of Claudine. Aside from the two, the actress also has two sons—Santino and Noah.
Santino is Claudine’s biological child with her estranged husband, actor Raymart Santiago.
Meanwhile, Noah is also adopted.
In a recent interview with PUSH, Claudine, who is dubbed as the country's "Optimum Star", said she doesn't regret turning her back on showbiz to take care of her children.
“Actually, it was a very painful decision for me,” she admitted. “When Raymart (Santiago) and I, nung naghiwalay kami, I felt that I really had to step back from show business because kailangan ako ng mga anak ko.
“I didn’t want them to feel na, one day, paggising nila, wala na silang nanay, wala na silang tatay. It was a very painful decision but of course, at the end of the day, my priority will always be my children,” she added.
Claudine said she even asked for her children's permission before she returned to acting.
“Both Santino and Sabina said na, ‘It’s okay mommy, you can work already, we’re big already.’ And looking at them now individually, I think tama lang ang naging desisyon ko na bantayan ko ang kanilang paglaki. And I will never ever regret stepping back," she said.
“My top priority will always be motherhood. It’s something that you cannot say na, ‘Okay, break muna ako.’ But my passion will always be show business. This is all I know and this is what I think I’m good at," she added.
Currently, Claudine is gearing up for Deception, her much-awaited reunion film with ex-boyfriend Mark Anthony Fernandez.
