The reunion project of Charlie Dizon and Paulo Avelino, lead stars of the award-winning film Fan Girl, has finally been revealed.
On Instagram on Monday, July 12, PROJECT 8 announced that the two will star in the music video of Zack Tabudlo's latest single "Hindi Ko Kaya".
The music video will be directed by Antoinette Jadaone, who is the same director behind Fan Girl.
On his Instagram page, Zack also shared teaser photos for his upcoming music video, which will premiere on his YouTube channel at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 17.
Zack, an alt-pop and R&B artist who was a finalist on the first season of singing competition The Voice Kids, released "Hindi Ko Kaya" last May. According to the 18-year-old singer, the song is about "letting go of the pride and ego after a breakup, [but then] realizing you still love her and 'di mo kaya mawala siya."
Just last April, Zack released the music video of his hit single "Binibini", starring the onscreen tandem of Andrea Brillantes and Seth Fedelin. Since then, the music video, which was directed by Dan Villegas—who happens to be the fiancé of Antoinette—has garnered more than 19 million views on YouTube.
He also recently collaborated with fellow The Voice Kids alum Darren Espanto on the song "Tama Na", for which he was credited as a writer and producer.
Aside from "Hindi Ko Kaya" and "Binibini", Zack, a recording artist of Universal Music Philippines sublabel Island Records PH, is also known for his hits
"Nangangamba", "Sigurado", "Umaasa", and "Iyong Iyo".
