After entering showbiz as a housemate in Pinoy Big Brother: Otso, Rhys Miguel shared how thankful he is to get his biggest acting break in the Star Cinema x Kumu digital movie Love at First Stream.
“Pagkatapos ng PBB yung main project na ginawa ko is The Four Bad Boys and Me and then He’s Into Her. And super super meaningful talaga kasi with Star Cinema and then with Kumu, a combination that’s never been done before and then siyempre si direk Cathy Garcia-Molina yung director,” he shared.
In Love at First Stream, KaoRhys fans will be happy to know that Miguel will be working with fellow PBB alum Kaori Oinuma who is also currently his castmate in the series He’s Into Her.
Super unreal talaga. I’m super thankful and grateful,” he said.
Before they start shooting the movie, Rhys shared what lessons he has learned so far from doing workshops with their director Cathy Garcia-Molina.
“We talked about it sa workshop and like direk Cathy said we’re just trying to come to the set empty talaga to learn and on time on set, never late kay direk. Mag-pa-practice pa ako ng Tagalog as much as possible,” he said.
Among all the blockbuster director’s previous works, Rhys said he was inspired by Hello Love, Goodbye the most.
