Dreamscape Entertainment has finally released the teaser for the upcoming ABS-CBN series Marry Me, Marry You starring Janine Gutierrez and Paulo Avelino.
In a 10-minute video released online last Wednesday, June 30, fans got an inside look at the preparations for some of the scenes from the highly-anticipated show.
The cast of the show also shared their excitement for the project, including screen veterans Cherry Pie Picache, Vina Morales, and Edu Manzano as well as the newest Kapamilya Sunshine Dizon.
“Ang ganda ng storyline. It’s always a challenge and it’s always nice to be working with ‘yung new breed of directors like Direk Dwein and of course, ‘yung the ever-dependable like Direk Jojo,” Cherry Pie said.
“I haven’t done a teleserye for a while. So, nu’ng natawagan ako ng Dreamscape at na-offer ‘yung role, sabi ko ‘Oy, something different.’ When they asked me [sabi nila] something comedy, love story. Sabi ko, ‘O sige, join ako diyan.’ Kasi ‘di ba? Para mabigyan ng entertainment ang mga viewers natin ngayon ng something light na nakakakilig na, na nakaka-in love,” Vina shared.
“To be honest, I’m a fan of Direk Dwein. Tapos nu’ng nalaman ko na siya ang mag-didirek nito, na-excite ako. Nakaka-excite din naman talaga ‘yung lineup. Ms. Cherry Pie, Ate Vina, and the rest. And it’s also sort of a reunion project for me and Janine,” Sunshine stated.
“Ang lakas ng ABS-CBN sa mga dramas. This is a show na kung saan maraming drama, magagaling na artista. Ito ‘yung story na very contemporary. Dito sa cast na ‘to, they’re very professional,” Edu said.
Meanwhile, Teresa Loyzaga, also a showbiz veteran, shared what made her accept the project which she called a “hell of a show.”
“It’s going to be a hell of a show because of the people included in the show. What a production. This is a cast na parang hindi ganu’n kadali to put them together. So ‘pag nangyari ito at tinawag ang pangalan mo, umu-oo ka na. ‘Wag ka na mag-isip. Go,’” Teresa said.
The lead stars of the show — Janine Gutierrez and Paulo Avelino — likewise expressed their excitement to work with the star-studded cast.
“I’m so excited to be working with this cast na first time ko din talaga makakatrabaho karamihan sa kanila. Ang saya-saya sa set. And of course, working with Dreamscape na talagang hinahangaan ko ‘yung mga teleserye nila dati pa,” Janine said.
Paulo, for his part, said: “I’m always excited to work with people na hindi ko pa nakakatrabaho dito not just Janine, but a lot of the cast as well. Sino ba namang leading man ang hindi matutuwa na napakaganda ng kaharap niya lagi at nakikita niya araw-araw?”

Other veteran actors included in the star-studded ensemble include Lito Pimentel, Jett Pangan, and Joko Diaz.
Jake Ejercito, Iana Aquino, Fino Herrera, EJ Jallorina, Meanne Espinoza, Adrian Lindayag, Keann Johnson, Luis Vera Perez, Analain Salvador, and Angelica Lao complete the cast of the show.
Directors Dwein Baltazar and Jojo Saguin also shared what Marry Me, Marry You is all about and what fans can expect from the show.
“Ang Marry Me, Marry You sobra niyang relatable na series. Tungkol siya sa characters ni Janine na si Camille at tsaka ni Paolo na si Andre na merong dalawa na completely different na family at world na pagbabanggain at pagmemeet-in natin,” Dwein said.
“I wanted something na the audience can come home to. Bukod sa relate to, ‘pag pagod sila, ‘pag pinanood nila ‘yung show, may comfort silang mararamdaman dito. Parang mini-sanctuary na meron silang takas,” she added.
“Hindi siya typical teleserye na marugdog. As much as possible, our goal is to be light. Pero, nakakapagpaiyak ng tao. Hindi ‘yung may walling, matataas ang boses, sigawan. Dito, ita-try natin na ibahin. Although kahit siya light, may kurot sa puso,” Director Jojo said.
“We’ll give hope and inspiration to them. Marami siyang kakapulutan ng love among the family. Masasabi nila na ‘Isa ako du’n sa pamilya na ‘yun eh. Nakakaranas ng ganito, pero masaya ang pamilya ko kahit nararanasan namin ang mga ganitong pangyayari at problema.’ Merong aral na matuturo. In the end, family is love, family is forever,” he added.
